Welcome to Thrive Running Collective!
We’re Kim and Andrea, running coaches and physical therapists dedicated to helping you reach your running goals while prioritizing your health and well-being.
Our journey began at the University of Washington, where we met in physical therapy school and quickly became friends, lab partners, and running buddies.
Today, we are established Doctors of Physical Therapy, certified running coaches, and proud moms, all while continuing to log miles and achieving our personal running goals. We believe that running helps us be the best versions of ourselves in the clinic and at home. Our friendship has evolved, but our passion for running and belief in its transformative power remain strong.
At Thrive Running Co., we see running as more than just exercise; it enriches our lives. Our mission is to empower runners of all levels—whether you’re a beginner or aiming for a personal record—through personalized coaching grounded in evidence-based practices. We offer tailored training plans that focus on injury prevention, performance enhancement, and fostering a lifelong love of running.
Join us for expert tips, workout demonstrations, injury prevention strategies, and motivational content designed to support your running journey. Let’s thrive together!

Coach / Physical Therapist / Board Certified Specialist in Women’s Health Physical TherapyI earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington and am now a board-certified specialist in women’s health physical therapy. I’m passionate about helping women, especially moms, stay healthy and achieve their physical goals. I firmly believe that when we prioritize self-care, we can be better moms—though I know that’s easier said than done!
Originally from Boise, ID, I now call Omaha, NE home while my husband completes medical school. I’ve been a runner since high school, completing six marathons and numerous shorter races since then. These days, most of my runs involve a stroller and a little extra motivation from my daughter!
I’m almost always on the go —between my work in the clinic, coaching, being a mom to an energetic toddler, and supporting my husband through school, our days are busy! However, prioritizing my health and fitness allows me to be the best version of myself, especially when life is so busy. I’m always striving to improve my running and physical fitness, and I love helping others do the same!
When I’m not in the clinic, out for a run, or chasing my daughter, you can find me relaxing with a cup of coffee and my two French bulldogs who much prefer the couch to exercising!

Coach / Physical TherapistI earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Washington and have treated patients in multiple settings before settling into my dream position working primarily with runners and other endurance athletes.
I love empowering athletes of all levels to reach their fitness goals using a combination of evidence based practice and commitment to understanding and connecting with YOU as a person. I see running as a sport that encourages not only physical health, but fosters community and improved mental health as well.
Originally from Bellingham, WA, I now live in Nashville, TN, with my husband, young daughter, and two dogs (who often act as my running buddies). With a history as a collegiate soccer player, running became my competitive outlet after graduating from college, and I’ve never looked back! My favorite running distance is the marathon, but I have completed numerous half marathons as well as a trail 50k. My most proud running accomplishment is being a four time Boston Marathon qualifier (and a two time finisher). As I recently became a mom, I am now navigating what it looks like to share my running journey with my daughter and (literally) bring her along for the ride.
When I’m not treating patients in the clinic or running with various Nashville run clubs, I can be found chasing my dogs around, taking stroller walks with my daughter, or curled up with a good book and a cup of coffee.
